Immigration Forum Moved to No Limit List
After a long while and not much use the Illegal Alien Report Forum on Immigration and Border Security Issues is being moved to the No Limit List Forum on Immigration and Alien Affairs. This may not appear to be much of a change at first, but when you consider technical issues it is a significant change for a better user experience.
The No Limit List Forum on Immigration and Alien Affairs is already more advanced that this one because it lets you upload images, has a private messaging system within the site that does not require you to disclose an email address to receive feedback, and is about to acquire a rating system. It is also less advanced because it lacks the word filter we applied to this forum to limit the use of profanity including racial slurs, but more advanced when you consider the fact that a more advanced version of the filter is being used on Housing, Employment, and other sections where discouraging discriminatory posts is a must.
We realize that if the word filter mentioned above were not in use here that this forum probably would have been used more, but we realized that there are few better placed to test out a filter designed to prevent discriminatory advertising than a forum on immigration. As such we chose this site to test our profanity filter even though we knew that allowing racial slurs would make it easier to judge the authors of such language by the content of their character.
Now all are welcome to speak their minds on immigration regardless of how they choose to express their views. Remember that immigration is just one issue out of many for which you are welcome to speak your mind knowing full well that censorship will not prevail because we tested our methods well.
