New Years Resolutions for Better American Border Security

2010 was a notorious year for American immigration and border security issues with the Arizona Law, this website, and the defeat of the Dream Act making headlines. I want 2011 to be better, so I took a look back and made my New Years Resolutions for Better American Border Security.

In late May a light bulb went off in my head as I watched an endless stream of pundits debating the Arizona Law. I had an innovative that I knew to be newsworthy and became so busy promoting myself that I failed to realize just how dangerous the illegal alien threat to my country really was. I was a web developer experienced in building sites people use to post items online. Immigration was a new field of study to me for which I was relatively ignorant on many issues. That ignorance manifested itself in the form of site neglect as I focused on more profitable activities.

I thought of most illegals as minor annoyances, but that changed when the Dream Act vote shocked my eyes open. Congress voted to take college classroom seats away from their constituents and give them to illegal aliens. By the time proper Senate voting aborted disaster I realized that the infiltration level in my country must be far severe and lasting than initially estimated, so I am dedicating my New Years resolutions to border security.
